Building Kerberos on Darwin as a regular UNIX build

When you build Kerberos on Mac OS X, it wants to build with all the
peculiarities for Apple (like different includes, etc) - then fails to
build.

Is there a way to build Kerberos on Darwin as if it were a regular UNIX
platform?  This would be VERY useful for testing.


I've been going through the distribution and changing __APPLE__ to
__APPLExx__, then using ./configure.

This is a real pain, and doesn't get everything right either.  It would be
nice if there were an option to configure that says "ignore macos x".
